August Program
The August User Group program on August 8, 2008 at 1 p.m. will be presented by our own volunteer Clay Coburn on Genealogy using Family Treemaker. This will be a brief overview of the course he will be teaching during our fall session at the George Pierce Park Satellite location. Clay has had extensive experience working with Genealogy and always presents an interesting and informative program. Clay provided the following description of his presentation--Trace your genealogy using the National and Georgia archives, Internet, CDs of family trees. Use the Family Tree Maker program to record all the family data. Discuss tools to use for gathering data and the Do's and Not to Do's of finding family information. An exciting course--have fun looking for a lost cousin! This will be the first time our PC User Group has met at the George Piece Park facility at 55 Buford Highway, Suwanee, Georgia 30024 (Telephone: 770-831-4173). This is a new facility with a beautiful Senior wing and this will be a wonderrful opportunity to see both the facility and our new computer learning center classroom.
